Frequently asked questions about coverage
How many sessions are covered?
The number of covered sessions depends on your supplementary insurance package. Most supplementary packages cover between 6 and 27 sessions per calendar year. Not all packages include physiotherapy. Contact your insurer or ask us.
Do I need a referral from my GP?
No, a GP referral is not required. You can make an appointment directly with the physiotherapist through direct access.
Is personal training also covered?
Personal training is not covered by health insurance. You can find the personal training rates above.
How does billing work?
For insured physiotherapy, we bill your health insurer directly. For uninsured treatments, billing is handled through Infomedics.
