Jan

Physiotherapist - Personal Trainer

Meet Jan – Approachable, Adaptable, Proactive

Jan lives near Hoofdorpplein in Amsterdam but originally comes from the beautiful city of Salzburg, Austria. His path to physiotherapy has been anything but ordinary. Before pursuing this career, Jan worked as a paramedic with the Austrian Red Cross. Growing up, he often had to deal with injuries himself, and the dedicated physiotherapist who treated him back then inspired him to help others in the same way.

What makes Jan unique is the diversity of his experience, both personally and professionally. He has a rich background in movement: from professional gymnastics, football, and swimming to hip-hop and breakdancing. Nowadays, he trains calisthenics and enjoys skateboarding, skiing, snowboarding, and making music, he plays the drums, guitar, piano, and sings.

Jan has been working as a physiotherapist for about a year and a half, supporting everyone from elite athletes to people recovering from spinal injuries. He doesn’t believe in quick fixes. Instead, he is a therapist who listens carefully, approaches each case with diligence, and combines professionalism with a warm, light-hearted atmosphere.

Jan wants everyone who comes to him to believe in the power of determination and to discover the beauty of exercise and healing. Clients can expect honest guidance and treatment sessions that are as enjoyable as they are effective.

Fun fact: Jan was the U14 gymnastics state champion in Austria, is a certified ski instructor, and has a deep love for cats.
